Rick Marcel is a Houston and Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, guitarist, and bassist — and a proud member of the legendary Kool & The Gang. Hailing from Rochester, NY, Rick has shared stages and studios with icons including the Isley Brothers, Charlie Wilson, Stephanie Mills, the Jacksons, Deniece Williams, and Prince. He has worked with Rap-A-Lot Records, Cash Money Records, and produced records for Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Big Tymers, among many others.
His solo releases — Made for You and Love Letter — blend Jazz Fusion and R&B, showcasing his range as a writer, arranger, and producer.
